Ben is passionate about leveraging science to create opportunities for all. Although he had little opportunity to access formal science experiences growing up, he was inspired by the woodlands and rivers near his home. This connection to the natural world helped shape a love of nature, the environment and conservation.

After a decade in finance and insurance, Ben transitioned to the charity sector, where he has spent the last five years in both fundraising and operational roles. He is currently pursuing a biology degree with the Open University.

As an Advocate, Ben works alongside the Board of Trustees but does not have their legal responsibility for the Charity's governance.
