Young Design Panel celebrates project achievements

On Wednesday 22nd January 2025, as their time working on our first child-led partnerships project came to an end, it was party time for our Young Design Panel. Almost 100 people attended the event at Winchester Science Centre as the children’s families and invited guests came together to celebrate their achievements. Twenty-five children, aged between 7 and 14 years old, have been working on a 9-month project combining science and art to help build our understanding of how children feel about the effects of climate change and biodiversity loss, with the aim of encouraging them to want to take action.
