Dr Janet Owen is a cultural professional with over 30 years of experience in connecting heritage, arts and science sectors. She holds an MA in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.

Janet's career includes management, executive and non-executive positions at Royal Museums Greenwich, Hampshire Cultural Trust and the Mary Rose.   

Janet is founding Executive Director of The Earth Museum, an experimental virtual learning platform connecting heritage with themes of global citizenship. She is highly motivated by initiatives where children and young people are at the centre of our planet’s future and is excited by Wonderseekers’ vital work in this area.   

Janet brings organisational transformation expertise and is excited to support the wider team in delivering Wonderseekers’ powerful ambition.
