Emily joined the Charity in 2014 and became Director of Engagement in 2017. She manages and develops our exciting people-led programmes and activities, working with all our audiences, especially those children who don’t traditionally engage with science.

Emily is an expert science communicator with a science background in ecology and children’s education. She loves developing new science content for families, particularly to help young people foster a lifelong love for nature.

Outside work, Emily is a keen gardener and can often be found in her polytunnel growing new varieties of vegetables for her family. She has even been part of a gold-winning team at Chelsea Flower Show.
