“I love my role. I help my awesome colleagues realise their vision when delivering our mission. That can be by providing financial planning and information, ensuring a clean, safe experience at the Science Centre or providing a reliable, effective IT system."

Lizi has been with the Charity since September 2018.

“Growing up, my dad was convinced I'd be a scientist," she says. "I enjoyed experimenting, but a lack of accessible role models meant I never understood what that really looked like. So, via a history, politics and economics degree, I became a qualified management accountant, working with charities and universities to help create more opportunities for others.”

Lizi is obsessed with reducing waste and composting and is always happy to talk about her bokashi bins.
