Can you make a pinhole viewer and learn about how light travels?

A pinhole viewer forms an image inside the box without the need for a lens or mirror. Have a go at making your own. What happens when you look inside the box? Can you see anything?

Did you know light only travels in straight lines? Watch how light rays travel through the tiny hole in your pinhole viewer.

The image might look a bit strange as it will be upside down. Light travels into our eyes in the same way, but our brains 'fix' the image by flipping it the right way up. Wow!
