Did you know that geckos help space travel?

No way! It's because of biomimicry. Biomimicry is when we copy events or actions that happen in nature. NASA scientists watched geckos crawling on walls and ceilings. Hair on the geckos' feet created friction and helped them stick. NASA used biomimicry to help invent something sticky for inside and outside rockets.

Different surfaces speed up or slow down objects. Can you create a marble run to test the friction of different surfaces? Don't forget to make it a fair test and share your results.
